PLU offers classes in jazz history, jazz theory, private instrumental lessons, as well as lessons in jazz composition and arranging. The jazz ensemble and combos provide students and audiences with the opportunity to experience jazz music both in its traditional form and in a variety of music styles, including Brazilian music.
