Message from our Student Ambassadors
We are so glad that you are interested in the School of Business at PLU -- it is definitely a great place to be! We are so lucky to attend a university filled with staff, faculty, and administrators who are not only passionate about our education, but also care about us as individuals. The School of Business is more than just a place to learn -- it is a community.
Each class has an average of 24 students, allowing you to build relationships with your peers and professors. It is pretty great to be on a first name basis with your faculty. Our entire School of Business team holds office hours for students to ask questions, get extra help, or simply just say hi. With the small class sizes, students are able to get to know and work with classmates from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
PLU encourages global and alternative perspective learning. Students are given the opportunity to study abroad to enhance their education. It is possible for students to earn upper division business credits while building a well for clean water in Nicaragua or exploring China and South Korea. The School of Business even makes it possible to develop your own concentration based on your interests and goals. PLU wants you to leave with the education that best suits you and your chosen career path.
The School of Business holds national affiliations with a variety of student clubs, such as the American Marketing Association, Society of Human Resource Management, and the financial and accounting honor society, Beta Alpha Psi. Our alumni network distinguishes the university. PLU business alumni are influential leaders in their fields. They offer experiential learning opportunities, internships, and personal connections with students. We could go on and on about how great the School of Business is, but we think the best way to learn more is to visit us! Regardless of your program interest, you will be an integral part of our community and we cannot wait to meet you!
