There are important steps you MUST COMPLETE before you can request your New Transfer Student Registration appointment. They are on the ‘Next Steps’ checklist on your PLU student applicant portal. Refer to this checklist to see what you’ve completed and what you still need to do.
You can register by meeting with PLU Advisors in person or virtually! Transfer students who start in Spring 2025 will be able to meet with an advisor on January 14 & 15 to register for classes. If you are a transfer student who is starting the nursing program in Spring 2025 then you can register for classes on December 16th.

For new Transfer students starting in the Fall 2022 semester
Step 1: Complete the registration eligibility steps
- Submit $200.00 Enrollment Deposit
- Create an ePass account
- Complete the PLU Online Payment Agreement
- Complete the Washington State Meningococcal Release Acknowledgement
Step 2: Complete the necessary placement exams
- Language Placement Survey (free, online – results available during your registration appointment)
- Math Placement Survey
