Professors Suzanne Crawford O’Brien, Adela Ramos, and Kevin O’Brien share why it’s a great time to study environmental studies and why PLU is a great place to do so!

PLU Environmental Studies Highlights:

  • Interdisciplinary approach focused on discovering the relationships between humans and the environment. The curriculum combines social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences to integrate understandings of and solutions to environmental problems.
  • Get some hands-on experience and take a watershed-based course that examines the health of PLU’s watershed, the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed.
  • Participate in or attend Earth Day Lectures with some outstanding speakers.
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree with a potential to combine with complementary minors such as Biology, Chemistry, Communication, earth Science, Economics, etc.
