- Independent Study: For students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, PLU’s Global Studies program offers opportunities for independent study. These studies let you explore unique questions in your chosen concentration, all while working one-on-one with a professor. - Research Funding: Through PLU’s Wang Center, Global Studies majors can apply for grants to support independent research abroad, offering students the chance to bring their classroom learning into real-world settings.
