Major Minute Monday: Music

Brian Galante, Music Professor and Department of Music Chair shares why it’s a great time to study music and why PLU is a great place to do so!

PLU Music Program Highlights:

• Participate in ensembles regardless of your major. The total of 11 vocal and instrumental ensembles are open to students via yearly auditions at the beginning of each fall semester.
• Choose from 200 events a year to attend. Check out upcoming performances in this calendar.
• Benefit from workshops and festivals. Many of these events bring high school students from Washington, Idaho and Oregon to the PLU campus. Members of the community have an opportunity to attend workshops and/or simply attend the beautiful performances these workshops provide.
