CAMPUS LIFE

LUTES CENTER COMMUNITY

Life as a Lute is about more than just going to class. PLU students are active and involved–in the residence halls; on athletic fields, courts and in the stands; on the stage and in the audience for performing arts; and in scores of campus clubs. Through campus life involvement, students foster belonging by engaging in meaningful dialogue, seeking authenticity, building connections, and opening minds to see community in new, expansive ways.

We care about living out our values of diversity, justice and sustainability, and students here–simply put–are nice. There’s a reason we’re ranked in the top 25% in the nation on the feel good index.

And we love our location–PLU is the closest university to Mt. Rainier National Park, we’re minutes away from the water, a short drive to Seattle and an even shorter drive to downtown Tacoma!
