Responsibilities
Andrea started with Pacific Lutheran University in 2017 and is leading the buildout of a new team and “sustainable campaign cycle,” as called for in PLU’s Strategic Plan. In her role, she oversees all University Relations-related campaign operations and provides strategic direction and leadership on campaign initiatives, including university-wide campaign projects and annual fundraising and donor engagement campaigns.
Biography
Andrea grew up in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and has lived for two decades in Washington, where she enjoys camping, gardening and birding. During her career, she has worked in a variety of communication and nonprofit fields, including healthcare publishing, museums, and art and environmental organizations. Working now in liberal arts higher education, she is proud to guide fundraising and engagement projects that benefit current and future students, the immediate campus community, and the broader community — all in order to improve individual and collective well-being and to make the world a more just and equitable place.
