Spring 2025 Internship Encounters

The Internship Encounter event series brings employers recruiting interns to campus to connect with PLU students. We focus on inviting local employers offering opportunities for almost every student on campus. Stop by an employer’s table to explore available internships and network with potential future employers!

Why should I attend?

Attending an Internship Encounter allows you to connect directly with employers who are actively recruiting PLU students. That means:

  • The positions are legitimate, and you can quickly find out if you’re eligible, ensuring you’re not wasting time on inactive or fraudulent job postings.
  • Meeting the employer in person also gives you a competitive edge by helping you understand what they’re looking for in candidates, so you can tailor your application.
  • Plus, you’ll get to know the company better and decide if it’s a good fit for you.

How can I prepare?

Internship Encounters are designed to be a more casual interaction between students and employers, allowing for more meaningful conversations. While bringing a resume isn’t required, we recommend brushing up on your skills and experiences, so you are ready to talk about them. It’s also a good idea to research employers you’re interested in beforehand to come up with thoughtful questions.
