Jerel LaLone

Hey! I’m Jerel LaLone, and I’m the Executive Senator for ASPLU. This means that I not just represent the student body like the rest of the Senators, but I am able to voice the opinions of the students to the Board of Regents as well. This is my second year at PLU and my second year in ASPLU and I couldn’t be happier to do this again! Besides this position I am also involved with student life as a Residential Assistant for Pflueger/South Hall. Aside from my commitments in PLU, I like to exercise on my free time, or go on hikes, walks, really just anything I can do to keep my body moving. This year, I really hope to continue our ongoing conversations with Campus Safety in order to improve feelings of safety and comfort for students that need to walk back to their cars at night, and so students do not have to worry about their car being broken in while they are away from it.
