Joshua Davis

Hello I am Joshua, this is my second year at Plu, senior standing. I am a senator for the class of 2026. As of now I am representing your interests in the student sustainability committee and the Budget Advisory Committee. I am also a leader within GREAN and focus my efforts on environmental restoration and outreach to the Tacoma community. I am also the Treasurer for NAMI, which is a new club recently established on campus to support efforts to bring better awareness to mental health. My hope is we can build better systems to support people and form communities where mental health is not as stigmatized. My plans this year is to set up a framework to get compost on all parts of campus. Start a campaign to clear invasive species across campus so our natural spaces can be better enjoyed and utilized. Lastly, I hope to push for the creation of supportive mental health systems that have a student led element. In my free time I love to hike, go on walks, make new friends, explore new places, reads, watch documentaries, and go to the gym.
