Mal Rizzo

My name is Mal, and I’m your pal! As Off-Campus Senator, my responsibility is to listen to the voices of the commuter student body and represent them in meetings, factoring into account their well-being and needs on campus so that they can succeed and benefit from the changes we make at PLU. I like to collect & brew teas, play video games and pickleball, and lounge around in the CAVE in my freetime. I’m currently a Research Assistant in the Psych department and have been a student employee in Catering. I’m hoping to help feel more confident in their abilities to secure opportunities on campus, like club involvement, employment, research, and make college life more accessible to all students, especially as a commuter.
