PLU Campus Safety received notice from the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) that an armed robbery had occurred off campus approximately one block away. Suspect fled toward campus. Stay in place activated. Please remain indoors. Updates will follow as information is available.

Update – 6:23am: A police K9 unit is in the area tracking. Please remain indoors.

Update – 6:45am: All clear, stay in place lifted. PCSD has concluded their search and the suspect is no longer in the area. Please return to normal activities.
