Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is responding to a report of shots fired on Garfield Street near Park Ave. There is no threat to campus. Please avoid the area.

Police are responding to reports of gunfire from the area of the Library Lot. Police are on scene now, please remain indoors until further notice. PLU officials have confirmed that no members of the PLU community were involved and no involved parties were seriously injured. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
