Here are a few upcoming career events!
WASHINGTON STATE LEGISLATURE VIRTUAL CAREER TREK – Feb 11th, 2:30-4:30pm
The Washington State Legislature Virtual Career Trek is hosted by the Alumni & Student Connections Office in collaboration with Colleen Rust, Director of Civic Education at the state legislature. The virtual event will feature a panel discussion with PLU alumni who work at the state capitol and in state agencies as well as information from Colleen about the Washington State Legislative Internship Program. This is open to all Lutes regardless of major or class level. Students can register on the PLU Opportunities Board by selecting Events > Workshops.

FREE VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR – Feb 11th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EST)
The Association for Women in Science Virtual Career Fair aims to connect AWIS members and all women in science with employers seeking top talent. This aligns with AWIS’ work toward equal inclusion and advancement of women in science positions at all levels, from early career to senior leadership. Free and open to all. Registration required.
FREE VIRTUAL WOMEN IN TRADES EVENT – March 3rd from 3:30-7:00PM (PST)
This is an open house forum where you will have the opportunity to discuss a potential career path of Trades! Here at the City of Tacoma we have many amazing opportunities within Power, Water, Rail, Environmental Services, Planning Development Services & Public Works! This will be a chance to discuss the recruitment process, get interview advice, and talk to women currently in these roles.
