ACS Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Respect (DEIR) Scholarship

The Puget Sound Section of the ACS has extended the deadline for their $2000 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect Scholarship.
Applications are now due May 15th.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or university in the ACS Puget Sound Section (for a list of colleges in our section, visit our website) with a chemistry curriculum.

This scholarship is specifically for underrepresented minority students in chemistry who identify as one or more of the following: Hispanic/Latinx, Indigenous (American Indian, Alaskan native), Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander (including Filipino), African American/Black.

Students must have completed one year of general chemistry and intend to pursue a major in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or related field involving a curriculum emphasizing chemistry coursework.
