November 15, 2024
NSF-supported Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at Mississippi State University is focused on Food, Energy, and Water Security. This ten-week summer program offers students the chance to work with a faculty mentor on renewable energy research, covering biofuel production, biochar applications, and wastewater purification.
Participants will receive a $6,000 stipend, housing and meals, and travel support for this 10-week summer program beginning May 27, 2025. We welcome applications from undergraduates who have completed at least their freshman year and are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Interested in environmentally focused research?  Apply by February 15, 2025, using this link. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on research experience and professional skills.
For questions, see the REU flyer for Food, Energy Water Security 2025.  More info can also be found on the MSU website.
