The Advanced Materials Analysis and Characterization (AMAC) internship program at the University of Oregon is an accelerated master’s degree program that prepares students for careers in materials science and other fields.
 
WHAT DOES AMAC OFFER STUDENTS?
  • Master’s degrees in chemistry in as little as 15 months
  • Extensive practical experience and technical training on cutting-edge scientific instruments
  • Paid internships with industry partners to earn income while completing their degree

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
  • Two terms on campus taking courses with analytical experts
  • Group projects investigating real materials characterization problems utilizing techniques learned
  • Housed in the Center for Advanced Materials Characterization in Oregon (CAMCOR), a suite of materials analysis labs serving both academia and industry
  • Remaining terms on location at internship sites
  • All STEM majors welcome to apply
