2025 Summer Paid Internship Program Opportunity at the WA Department of Health

The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has just posted our 2025 Pathways Summer Paid Internship Program position announcement.  The application period opens today (February 3) and closes on February 16, 2025.

Please note:

• Through the Pathways Summer Paid Internship program, WA DOH will bring on a cohort of 15 paid interns for a 10-week summer internship experience (June 16 to August 22, 2025).
• Eligible students may be studying at any degree level (from associates to undergraduate and graduate degrees), in any academic discipline, at any academic institution in Washington State.
• Students must be continuing their studies into the 2025-26 academic year; students graduating in or prior to Summer 2025 are not eligible.
• The Pathways Paid Internship Program for Summer 2025 is contingent upon the continued availability of federal funding for this program.

• Applications will not be accepted after the February 16^th application deadline.

They also invite students, recent graduates, and any others interested in public health careers, to join them for the Public Health Careers in Washington State virtual monthly series. They have four sessions remaining in the series for this 2024-25 academic year.
