Jing Yu, 于婧

Jing Yu (于婧) is Visiting Scholar at PLU from School of Overseas Education, Sichuan University, China, where she is an assistant professor. Prof. Yu holds a Master’s degree in English and American Literature from Tongji University in Shanghai (2012) and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand.

Prof. Yu possesses extensive expertise in teaching Chinese as a second/foreign language from her twelve years of Chinese language education in diverse international academic institutions during which she has worked at Kyung Hee University in South Korea (2012-2015), University of Puget Sound (2015-2018), University of Washington (2018-2019) in the United States, and Sichuan University in China (2019-2024). Prof. Yu’s research interests include Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Educational Technologies and Innovation, and Language Contact.
