Biography

Rachel is thrilled to join the PLU team as a Mental Health Counseling Intern and spend the ’24-’25 year working with the PLU community. As a clinician, she values self-discovery and acceptance (you are enough!), community care, and finding glimmers of silliness (even in the tough stuff). She hopes to sit with you as you navigate your way through the big questions of life, the nitty gritty, and everything in between. Rachel comes to PLU with ten years of experience in the developmental disability field. Her favorite role was teaching self-advocacy and healthy relationship courses. She is currently a second-year graduate student at Seattle University pursuing a Master of Arts in Psychology. As a human, Rachel values warm lighting, comedy, new recipes, and pictures of cute puppies.
