INQUIRE | COLLABORATE | DEVELOP

Welcome to the Digital Humanities Lab at Pacific Lutheran University! The DH Lab is an interdisciplinary space for collaboration and innovation around intersections of digital technology and scholarly practice. The lab provides assistance to students and faculty working on digital scholarship, and we provide consultation for faculty designing Humanities-focused digital projects in their courses. Additionally, we work with PLUs iTech Department to ensure that faculty and students have all the technical support needed to complete their work.

The Digital Humanities Lab is located in the Hong Residence Hall, room 246B. Our open Lab hours are shown under “Office Hours.” Support is also available by appointment. Email Lab Director Prof. Adela Ramos at dhlab@plu.edu to set up a meeting. The lab is also available to faculty, small classes, or student groups in need of a collaborative meeting space.

Thanks to the generous support of the Mellon Foundation, we are currently able to fund travel and course design for faculty interested in the Digital Humanities. You can find more information as well as a list of 2019-2020 conferences here and by emailing the lab director.
