Licensure Disclosure

• Each state and territory have different professional licensure and certification requirements. PLU teacher and principal certification programs, including add-on endorsements are approved by the Washington Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) and meet Washington state licensure requirements. Candidates who complete PLU’s state approved preparation programs for teachers and administrators will be recommended to the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) for licensure.

PLU Certification Verification

• Alumni seeking certification verification are asked to email their form(s) to educ@plu.edu. Processing time will vary depending on graduation date and may take between 2-4 weeks.
• PLU transcripts may be requested through the Office of the Registrar.
