Drop & Refund Policies   

We understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to withdraw your registration. Policies and refunds vary by program, so please review the information on this page carefully prior to withdrawing. We also recommend contacting us prior to withdrawing, to discuss any other options that might be available to you. These do not apply to the Add-On Endorsements, only to non-credit, non-clock hour offerings available; please verify before registering if you have questions if these apply to your program.

General Deadlines & Refunds

  • Individual Workshops (one day or less)
  • Full refund up to 1 business day before the class
  • No refund as of the day of the class

Multi-Day Courses

  • Full refund up to the first day of class
  • 80% refund during the first week of class
  • No refund after the first week of class

Online Courses

  • Full refund up to the first day of class
  • 80% refund during the first week of class
  • No refund after the first week of class

Exceptions and Special Circumstances

Partnerships and Professional Development at PLU reserves the right to approve or deny requests for exceptions to the above policies on a case-by-case basis. If you have a special circumstance, please contact the appropriate department prior to withdrawing from your course.

To withdraw from a registered class, please email profdev@plu.edu. We will be in touch by email within 5-7 business days of submission.
