Software Update Services
Software patches and updates for university computers.
Windows Update Services or WSUS is a software utility used by Information & Technology Services to remotely update common software programs found on PLU-owned Windows based computers. Regular updates are necessary to provide the optimal security environment. Updates occur after they are made available by software companies and evaluated for campus use. Apple computers are updated as needed by the user or they are updated during the preventative maintainance process performed by I&TS staff and students in the summer.
