Is it confidential?
The identity of participants will remain as confidential as possible. In order to participate in the program, any participants must commit that their conversations should remain private, meaning that the discussions will not be disclosed without the other’s consent, unless legally compelled to do so (e.g., rare events such as a subpoena, etc.). The leadership team agrees to the same confidentiality standards as participants, and data about participants collected by the leadership team are stewarded with the same protocols as a human-subjects research study.
Despite these preventative measures, there is no guarantee. It is possible that information could be shared inappropriately, and PLU will not be held responsible for any disclosures. All participants should use their best judgment in what they choose to share, particularly with someone they do not know.
Only the Director of Connections and the Director of Communication will receive identifying information when the form below is submitted. If you wish, you may to contact another member of Lute FASSN leadership team to offer or seek support, and that leadership team member will provide an alternative form that is kept private from the others. In such cases, the chosen leadership team member will serve as an intermediary between the Matching/Assessment Coordinators and the participant so as to keep their identity confidential.
