Kelly Larson, Therapist in Training
I believe that healing happens in community and that therapy is collaborative work between the client and the therapist. As a therapist, I am here to offer you a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and supportive space to share your story and to help you find meaning in your experiences. I will work with you to create a tailored approach to meet your specific goals and needs. I believe that by engaging with curiosity and compassion, we can transform our relationships and our lives.
I use a systemic, trauma-informed, and culturally-informed lens to help draw connections between your experiences, and I place a heavy emphasis on trust-building in our therapeutic relationship. I particularly love working with queer/trans populations, complex trauma, couples & nontraditional partnerships, and neurodivergent folks.
In my free time, I am most often creating art, exploring a body of water, petting other people’s dogs, or seeking joy within my community. I would be honored to work with you, and I am so glad you’re here!
