Stasha Moreno, Therapist in Training
Hello! My name is Stasha Moreno (she/her), and I am currently working towards my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pacific Lutheran University. I received my B.A. in Languages and Literature from Bard College in New York State. I grew up in a multi-cultural home here in Tacoma, WA. I am a second-generation immigrant, and Mexican American therapist-in-training.
I approach therapy as a collaborative practice that takes into account your unique self. I strive to treat everyone with respect and to co-create an environment where trust can thrive and you feel safe to express yourself. I have an empathetic and compassionate nature. I aim to work from a place of curiosity and non-judgment. I hope to help you on your growth and healing journey as you become more connected with your mind and body. I utilize a holistic, person-centered, trauma-informed systemic approach to therapy.
I am passionate about working with immigrants, and other members of the BIPOC community, as well as people who hold other marginalized identities and their partners or families. I am especially interested in dismantling generational trauma.
I would be honored to work with you and to support you on your therapy journey.
