At the CFTC, we offer affordable, high-quality therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
Care at our center is based on a systemic approach that addresses the concerns people bring into therapy within the context of their relationships. We encourage people to include family members or significant others in therapy in order to gather as much information as possible about the difficulties you’re facing, and to create a supportive context for lasting change.
We offer support for people experiencing a wide range of concerns, including family challenges, parenting issues, depression, anxiety, divorce, trauma, communication problems, anger management, sex and sexuality concerns, grief and loss, religious and spiritual struggles, and couple/relationship issues.
We are also deeply concerned about the impact of COVID-19 and continued violence against people of color and work with our students to provide therapy that is inclusive of clients from all backgrounds and identities.
Our therapists use a collaborative approach to explore your concerns, notice places where you’re feeling stuck, challenge unhelpful patterns, and co-create goals for therapy. Children of any age are welcome in sessions, and our therapists often work in co-therapy teams to offer multiple perspectives for you and your loved ones.
About Our Therapists
All therapists have bachelor’s degrees and are in the final year of their graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy. The faculty who supervise students are all Washington licensed MFT practitioners, with additional credentials as clinical supervisors.
Please note: We endeavor to match our clients with the therapist of their choosing. But placement with a client’s preference is not guaranteed.
