To bring PLU’s 125th anniversary year to a spectacular close, PLU’s annual Christmas concert “A Christmas Invitation” will be broadcast into homes on Christmas and Christmas Eve in the Seattle, Tacoma and the greater Portland area for the first time ever. This year’s program features the exclusive world premiere of prolific Hollywood film composer J.A.C. Redford’s A Christmas Invitation, a three-movement work composed for the Choir of the West, University Chorale and our University Symphony Orchestra. The anniversary broadcast spotlights vocal soloist acclaimed Metropolitan Opera soprano Angela Meade ’01. Be prepared to sing along to your Christmas favorites and festive carols.
