Upcoming Opera, Le Nozze di Figaro
This pinnacle of classical opera focuses on the marriage of Figaro and Susanna. Together with the Countess Almaviva, they foil the efforts of the philandering Count to seduce Susanna and teach him a lesson in fidelity. Mozart’s comic masterpiece presented by the PLU Opera Workshop, is sung in Italian with English supertitles and orchestral accompaniment- Stage Directed by Barry Johnson and Music Directed by James Brown.
Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) opens the last weekend of January- 24, 25 and 26 at 7:30pm; January 27 at 3pm in Karen Hille Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
Tickets are $17 general admission; $10 seniors citizens (60+), military, alumni, PLU community; $5 PLU students, 18 and under. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.
