TACOMA, WASH. (March 14, 2018) - The foundations of peace are built on people. To John Noltner, an award-winning photographer from Minnesota, those people's stories are worth telling.
Designed to provoke conversations and build connections over social issues in a world that’s growing more and more divided, Noltner’s traveling multimedia art exhibit “A Peace of My Mind” is a response to this question: “What does peace mean to you?” Through the portraits and personal accounts of everyday people, he has been searching for an answer since 2009. Humanity’s common experience and communal instincts are displayed and celebrated through the exhibit’s striking posters, which share stories that both inspire and invigorate.
Noltner’s work will be on display in the lobby of Pacific Lutheran University’s Olson Auditorium and the upper floors of Mortvedt Library until March 16.
