This curriculum presumes completion of all PLU Entrance Requirements. Prior to taking NURS220 (the start of the nursing major), all high school students admitted to the program must retain the offer of admission to nursing, achieve the required grades in all coursework during their freshman year. All pre- and co-requisite courses must be completed at PLU with a grade of B- or higher. All nursing (NURS) courses must be completed with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) to be considered successfully completed. Nursing courses are sequential and must be taken in the indicated order; successful completion of courses in each semester is prerequisite to enrollment in courses in the next. The School of Nursing may add, amend, delete or deviate from the above curriculum and apply such changes to registered and accepted students. General education and entrance requirements must be successfully completed before the BSN degree will be granted. First-year program requirements must be completed within the first year at PLU.
**Indicates a pre-or co-requisite course for the School of Nursing.
*** All nursing majors must meet the PLU General Education requirements. Students may take these in any order they wish, but all must be taken to meet graduation requirements. Some courses within the nursing major and pre-nursing sequence fulfill general education requirements; For more information on general education requirements, see http://www.plu.edu/general-education/.
