Biography

Alicia grew up in the state of Maine and moved to Tacoma to attend Pacific Lutheran University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Alicia then worked in the nonprofit sector building relationships with community members and organizations. Her main responsibilities included raising philanthropic support for health and education resources – including scholarships for PLU students! Alicia returned to PLU to earn a Master’s degree in Nursing. As a registered nurse Alicia has experience working in cardiology, critical care, and corrections.
