Biography
Dr. Jessica Schwinck is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and a Primary Care Provider with Wellness Made Easy. She has 14 years of experience in Army medicine primarily in the Emergency/Trauma focus area. In addition, Dr. Schwinck has experience in teaching both undergrad and graduate students. Dr. Schwinck is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists, Sigma Theta Tau International, Emergency Nurses Association, Army Nurse Corps Association, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Education
Dr. Schwinck holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Pacific Lutheran University, a Master’s Degree in Nursing as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, Post-Masters Certificate as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from the University of Virginia. She has a Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Pacific Lutheran University.

Dr. Schwinck’s professional interests are in the areas of undergraduate and graduate education, improving access to care, evidence-based care, and trauma and emergency medicine
