John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Higher Education Summer Internship
The John N. Gardner Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (Gardner Institute) is looking for an Intern for Summer 2025! Interns are given the opportunity to collaborate alongside the Gardner Institute staff on work related to student success and increasing equity in higher education. Each intern is expected to work 10-15 hours per week and complete a project by the end of their term.
For the past 25 years, the Gardner Institute has worked with institutions to improve their student success. We are seeking an intern for the Summer 2025 term who is interested in working with postsecondary education data to conduct research to help the Gardner Institute improve its efforts to help more students earn their degrees.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate student in social science, applied math/statistics, or computer science/technology discipline and be interested in working with postsecondary educational data for assessment, analysis, or use in business intelligence
The work will consist of gathering, analyzing, and/or visualizing primary source institutional data or secondary national sources such as the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) to help advance the work at the Gardner Institute.
Interns will receive a stipend of $1,500 per semester and academic credit may also be available. All internships are online at this time.
