Virtual PNNL Lab Day
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Lab Day is on Friday May, 14th from 7:45-1:00pm PST. PNNL Lab Day is held every year and is designed for undergraduate and graduate students in the Pacific Northwest who will benefit from a greater understanding of international safeguards and nonproliferation. It is a great opportunity for students to become familiar with the laboratory and to network with staff about their topics of interest and employment opportunities. The event is sponsored by the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Office of International Nuclear Safeguards.
Highlights of PNNL’s Lab Day include:
- Engage and network with safeguards experts
- Learn about internship opportunities
- Gain introductory knowledge on nuclear safeguards technology, safeguards policy and concepts, environmental sampling, and data analysis and safeguards.
- Send any questions with respect to logistics or course content to Lab.Day@pnnl.gov.
