Alexis Austin

Alexis has been at PLU since March 2022. In her role, she oversees New Student Orientation, shepherds the Co-Curricular approach for programming in Campus Life, advises the Associated Students of PLU (ASPLU), and supports various Student Life initiatives. She is also the Co-Chair for the Trans Task Force. 

Alexis was born and raised in Chehalis, Washington. She is proud graduate of Centralia College (AA), Western Washington University (BA), and Western Illinois University (MS). Alexis lived and worked in Minnesota from 2016-2022 and then moved back to Washington to work at PLU and be closer to her family. In her free time, she enjoys nature walks with her dog, knitting and spinning her own yarn, and playing board games with friends.
