Brant McAdams

Brant has been at PLU as the head football coach since February 2018. Along with Staff Council, Brant has been a co-instructor in PLUS 100 with Dr Eva Frey since Sept 2020. He served on the Athletics Dept Executive Staff for 4 years from Sept 2020 to May 2024. He oversees a coaching staff of 3 full time assistants and ~12 part time/volunteers who assist in overseeing 115 football student-athletes each year. 

Brant was born and raised in the panhandle of Texas (Lubbock/Plainview). He attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and and has coached at the small college, division 3 level his entire coaching career. He got his Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Redlands in 2009. Brant and wife Alison have lived in Washington, California, and Texas. 

In his free time, he tries to keep up with his family; son Payton, daughter Adelyn, dogs Gus (St Bernard), Piper (Scottish Terrier), and Ada (Doodle), and by the time you read this bio, possibly another dog.
