Helen Larson

Helen Larson passed away Sept. 14, 2019. She was the second youngest of 10 children and was a first generation American citizen, born to parents who emigrated from Sweden. After graduating from PLU, she served briefly as a technician for a Tacoma blood bank before switching careers to teach second grade. She then met her husband Sam Larson and lived several places around the country before settling in Edgewood, WA. She was a fabulous baker and whose cookies were enjoyed by neighborhood kids. Helen is survived by her two sons, granddaughters, and grandson.
