Michael Rouse

Michael Rouse is currently on the front lines in the coronavirus pandemic. He serves as a senior nurse at the Veterans Administration hospital in Seattle, where he has been on the medical team for over 15 years. He was a pre-med student at PLU, graduating with a bachelor of science degree and then choosing a career in nursing. He has worked in various units of the VA Hospital including gastrointestinal, oncology, and the intensive care unit. Michael is married to Ruth (Hagglund) Rouse ’99. They have two children and are active members at University Lutheran Church in Seattle.
