John Roger Johnson was tragically killed in the Navy Yard shootings in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 16, 2013.
John was a math major at PLU and was working as a logistics analyst for a civilian contractor at the Navy facility. John lived in Derwood, Md., and leaves behind his wife, Judy; his four daughters; 10 grandchildren; and four stepchildren. John was known for his bear hugs.
