Susanne “Susi” (Gray) Becklund died November 29, 2013.
She had a distinguished career with Weyerhaeuser Co., at which she was offered a paid college degree with a job guarantee upon conclusion of her studies. Amazingly, upon graduation Susi found a niche in Equal Employment Opportunity Commission consultation with an affirmative-action focus and began her business, Becklund and Associates, and, more recently, 3 Sixty Human Resources Solutions. Susi met the love of her life, Harold Becklund, in Tacoma, and they enjoyed 25 wonderful years of marriage until Harold passed away in 1996. Susi is survived by her son, Nate Becklund ’96; her mother, Doris Gray; a sister, Kathy Diehl; and two brothers, Mike Gray and Jim Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her father, Glen Gray; and a sister, Margaret Hardenberg.
