Eliot (Michelsen) Morken ’29 died Jan. 26.
Morken died Jan. 26, 24 days after her 106th birthday party. She was born in Superior, Wis., on Jan. 2, 1909, but grew up in Portland, Ore. She went to Pacific Lutheran College, graduated a teacher and met the love of her life. They married; made their home in Seattle; and had one daughter, Sylvia Morken Pugh ’62 (Mel Pugh). Eliot is survived by her daughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odin E. Morken; her mother, Elida Teien Michelsen; and father Ole Michelsen.
