Jessica (Solberg) Anderson ’07 was chosen as the 2016 Montana Teacher of the Year by the Montana Professional Teaching Foundation. Along with this award, she was chosen as one of five 2015 Montana state finalists for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching, as well as a 2015 PBS Lead Digital Innovator (top 30 in the nation). She teaches earth science, chemistry and physics at Powell County High School in Deer Lodge, Mont.
