This symposium on food and the environment will feature two keynote speakers, panels, a Pierce County food tour that will visit local innovative production, consumption and waste models, as well as the PLU MediaLab documentary on food waste titled “Waste Not.””
Sandstrom: ‘St. Matthew Passion’, Mar. 22-23
St. Matthew Passion is a traditional part of the Lutheran liturgy each spring. Sven-David Sandström’s setting is a thoughtful reimagining of St. Matthew Passion that honors both the Bach setting that inspired it and the contemporary audiences for whom it is intended. Performed by the Choir of the West and Choral Union with University Symphony Orchestra.

PLU’s Wild Hope committee presents a series of events exploring vocation.
Dance Continuum, Apr. 8-9
Directed by Ariella Brown, Dance Continuum will showcase the talents of PLU student choreographers, PLU’s Dance Team, and compositions by faculty and professional guest choreographers. The concert promises to highlight the depth of artistic capabilities of PLU student choreographers and performers.
