Responsibilities
Shawn started working at Pacific Lutheran University in 2013. His primary responsibilities include strategic oversight of all risk related activities including risk assessment, mitigation and response strategies. Shawn’s responsibilities also include managing PLU’s insurance portfolio, managing the campus wide contract review process, working with the university’s legal counsel, oversight of employee risk management training, and the supervision of PLU’s Environmental Health and Safety office as well as the Procurement/Budget and Contracts Support office.
His previous experience includes leadership roles in Emergency Management and Campus Safety at PLU.
