Biography

Mr. David De La Vega serves as a Lute Battalion Assistant Professor of Military Science at Pacific Lutheran University ROTC since 2024. He enlisted as a 19D Cavalry Scout and later earned a commission as an Air Defense Officer through Officer Candidate School (OCS). During his last 10 years in the U.S. Army, Mr. De La Vega switched over to the Armor Corps. And spent most of his time tasked as a Simulations Operations Officer where he developed training exercises for command and staff teams at echelons above the brigade level. He has worked alongside NATO partners as a Theater Integrated Air and Missile Defense Strategic Exercise Developer.
