Dr. Jennifer Rhyne Jennifer Rhyne serves as Associate Professor of Flute and Music Theory at Pacific Lutheran University where she also directs the Sølvvinden Flute Ensemble and performs with the Camas Woodwind Quintet. Before joining the faculty of PLU, Rhyne taught at Fort Hays State University in Kansas. The North Carolina native holds degrees in Flute Performance and in Neuroscience from Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music, as well as degrees in Flute Performance from the University

Finding the Jack Number on a Wall PlateWhen you request service for a phone or  internet connection you may need to provide the jack number on the wall plate. Here are some examples of PLU wall plates with phone, network, and cable TV connections. Jack numbers are found at the top or the bottom of the faceplate that your connection is coming from.

At PLU, pre-professional advising and counseling is done by the Pre-Health Sciences Advising Team comprised largely of faculty members in the Division of Natural Sciences, but sometimes from other Divisions. Each student interested in a career in the health sciences should meet with an advisor. Together the student and advisor plan course work, assess progress, and discuss career goals.
