Adopted August 2015 All faculty and staff are required to setup, maintain, and regularly monitor a PLU email account. Pacific Lutheran University uses email for a variety of reasons including official communication with employees, delivery of pay advices, and assigning mandatory trainings.

Usage of the Pacific Lutheran University Rose Window emblem is strictly prohibited, as is modification of this logo in any way for the use of promotion. If clubs are in need of a logo, Impact may be able to provide design support.

Student open forums are held regularly and are organized as open conversations with the School of Nursing Dean and faculty. The forums provide an additional mechanism for student input into program planning and continuous quality improvement. All nursing students are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Revised January 2011 Although there is no requirement by law, the university’s policy provides for additional pay at the rate one and one-half times the regular rate, whenever certain benefits eligible staff employees are required to be present on holidays observed by the university.
